HackSuite CMS Documentation
Installing the hacksuite is a breeze
This is a tutorial on how to get started with the THC HackSuite. First of all I'm not doing the 'linux installation' in this thread. If you're a linux user or you have access to a webserver, you can copy the hacksuite into your webroot folder and just access the location with your browser. So instead I will just show you how to run it on a windows machine, I guess most people who use it run it on windows anyway.

First of all as you probably know PHP is a server sided program language, hence you'll need a server that knows how to parse PHP files.

Before you go ahead with reading you need xampp or any other combination package with a web server and php solution eg wamp. Most of these combinations have mysql too, you don't need it though as the hacksuite is entirely file based.

I've installed xampp in my C: folder, however you can use any folder of your choice of course.

Once installed make sure you have curl, sockets and fopen enabled.

Go with your browser to address http://127.0.0.1 and you will get this screen:

Click on the phpinfo() link on the left, this will show you your php configuration, find sockets:

...find fopen:

...and last but not least curl:

All these options should be 'enabled' or 'on'.
If not, open C:\xampp\php\php.ini.

For example if curl isn't enabled find this line:
;extension=php_curl.dll

You need to remove the ';'(semi-colon) character and then save the file.

When you're done restart the webserver, click on apache friends in the start menu, then click on the xampp control panel menu item:

Click on stop apache and then start apache, which will restart the webserver using your new configuration:

Copy the thc_hacksuite folder to your root folder (in my case /htdocs)

If you copied the files in /htdocs, you can access the hacksuite now like this:
open your hacksuite

That's all.

It takes lots of calories in order to create new things for the hacksuite, so it would be grand if you could buy me a protein shake or extra energy to keep me going. Thanks!
