It's not really difficult to create a new theme, the hacksuite is pretty flexible. The easiest way to create a new theme is going into the
Templates directory and copy the
x template, rename it so you have two folders in the Templates directory.
Click on
configuration on the top menu and in the dropdown menu click on configuration x tools.
In the configuration panel, click on the green fan icon:
This will bring you to the following screen, where you can select your theme of choice. As you can see I named the folder, created earlier in this documentation,
newtheme:
Select your new theme and click on the submit button to change your theme. Of course it's exactly the same as the theme you copied, but you can change the whoe look.
When you open the template folder (in my case
newtheme) you can see that there are 4 sub folders:
-
css: holding the css files
-
error: holding the error template
-
images: images for the theme
-
js: javascript files
In the root folder there are several files, the most important is
index.php which is responsible for templating the content created by the hacksuite. Unless you created an app or by using a module screen that doesn't,
ALL output goes through this template. The Hacksuite doesn't use a different template for all pages, although it is possible.
It's not necessary to use the exact names for the files, you can change anything you want as long as you link the files properly and use the content created by the hacksuite.
